No7 Extreme Length Masscara

Sorry I haven't blogged in a while but I've been caught up in the land of youtube! The cooking side to be precise. There are so many nummy crazy treats out there they just eat me up! (See what I did there!) Anyway, moving on to another favourite beauty product, this time No7's Extreme Length mascara. (P.s, I have the really old packaging so the mascara will look different in stores. The wand is still the same and so is the name so just ask at the till if you can't find it.)

This mascara is my absolute favourite mascara! It has a really thin, fine tip that makes your lashes longer without making them clumpy, I hate clumps! There's nothing worse to me than really thick, clogged up lashes and this mascara makes that look so easy to avoid! I love the spidery lash look, and this mascara makes my lashes longer while keeping them thin and allowing them to fan out which I love, love, love. If you do prefer a thicker look, you can build this mascara up and still avoid clogging up your lashes, it's just a really great product.

If, like me, you like thin, spidery lashes than here's a tip: use a clean wand with thin spikes to pick up any excess mascara and comb your lashes. This helps fan them out and is an extra declumper. I use this about 30 seconds after putting on my mascara, so the mascara has had time to dry a bit. You can pick these up for free at beauty counters. Mine are from a beauty counter in Fenwick's (the white, slightly grubby one) and at the make up part of Lush (the black, thick one). These are a handy tool to have whatever look you go for as you can get thicker and thinner ones. They really help to shape the lashes without putting on unnecessary extra mascara.

Beauty Favourite's: Maybelline FIT Me Concealer

So the next favourite I have for you guys is Maybelline's Fit Me concealer. I haven't been using this for ages but so far I'm really loving it. I have shade 10, which  I could found in my superdrug, I thought it might be a bit too dark but it works good enough! It does a great job of covering my dark circles and making me look awake and ready for action! ;) I think it's usually about 6 pounds, but there's an offer on at superdrug for 4 pounds so grab it now! The formula is easy to blend and gives a smooth finish without making your skin look really clumpy. The applicator allows you to add a tiny amount if that's all you need but of course you can build up if you feel you need to. The packaging is pretty simple but sturdy. It's perfect for carrying around as it's light but durable. I'm loving it!!

I answered the fit me questions and found out that my shade is actually 15 so I might try that since they are on offer! I'm pretty eager to try the foundation and powder too!

First ever beauty post (natural collecion lipsticks) below winter pics!

Snow and My Winter Favourites!

I live in England and boy has it snowed! Snow, snow, snow! I've wanted to post may winter favourites and since winter is coming to an end it is finally time to share them! I'm going to do Fashion Favourites: Winter Edition and Beauty Favourites. Because with beauty items there isn't really a lot of things that are especially wintery, whereas there is for fashion. My first one will be up tonight!

Since there has been a lot a lot a lot of snow, here are some photos of the winter wonderland, to get you in the winer mood!

Winter Beauty Favourites: Natural Collection Lipsticks

If you looked at my header I bet you've been wondering where the beaty blogging is... well its finally here!

My first favourite this winter is two lipsticks by Natural Collection at Boots. The lipsticks in this range are absolutely fantastic! They have gorgeous colours, they last and feel great on the lips.

My first one is Rose Bud and is also the first one I ever bought. It's a kind of your-lips-but-better lipstick, a slightly prettier-than-natural lip colour with a smooth finish. The colour is a tint pinker than my lips, it's my go to lpstick because it's so natural and easy to apply. It is a really nice colour that is clearly there but isn't wham! in your face. These lipsticks also stay for a surpising amount of time, especially this colour. I remember when I was out and me and my friend were both wearing it, we kept going to top it up and seeing that we didn't need to! I didn't think that a lipstick of this price (£1.99 I beleive) would look so good and feel so good!

My second colour is Rasberry, it really is the colour of a raspberry so they named it right which is reasuring! ;) I really love this colour as it is a pinky red that just looks so great I love it! It can be lighter if you apply it gently with a light hand but you can build the colour up to a dark more dramatic effect. It gives a really efffortless, natural berry colour and is't drying on the lips.

The packaging of the Natural Collection lipsticks isn't super fancy, but I don't think they are cheap looking and I've had plenty and never had one break. They have a round stick that goes in as it goes upward on both sides, so it comes to a flat, rounded edge at the top... It's difficult to explain! Haha! This shape makes it really easy to use as they don't have a distinct point. The formula is a dream to put on, it's so smooth and doesn't taste bad.

I really recommend these lipsticks, if you don't like these colours why not head into Boots (it's a Boots own brand, so they are only available there) and have a peak at the others? For £1.99 you can't really go wrong...
