Braces Off!

Tomorrow I'm getting my braces off! It's been at least 2 years and maybe a half since I got them on and I am so excited to get them off! God I can't wait I just want to jump about when I think about it!!!! EEEEEEEEE!

Summer In The City Ticketed

I'm not sure how I feel about this... The prices are reasonable and I understand why they are doing it but I just don't know if it will change things or make the experience less valuable. As someone who went last year and was planning to go this year (and still might, it is absolutely fantastic) I don't want to not have as good a time, but, this does have the potential to make things much more enjoyable as the organising may be better and it might be easier to meet everyone. I'm still not sure.

Amazing Day

Today I had the most amazing day. It was just a really great day out with my friends and I wanted to share it. 

Goodbye reccomended videos

This time I really did it haha! Basically, near the top on the left side of the youtube homepage are three buttons: 'What to watch'; 'My subscriptions'; 'Social'. Click my subscriptions (or I'll put a link at the end if you can't see it) and it will show all of your subscriptions activity without the recommended videos. There is also another button once you are in my subscriptions which says 'uplaods only' which gets rid of what  they commented on and liked. You have to do this every time you go to the youtube homepage as it is not a setting you can save, just another page. So anyhoo, that's how to see your subby's :)

New Header

First of all, I have a new banner! yay!
Now that the celebration is over (yes you were celebrating) I'll just share how and where I did it incase your trying to make one yourself. People use banners (or headers) for all kinds of things so I'm sure there will be a use of the website I am about to share with you. It's called FotoFlexer. It's free and really easy to get the hang of. I know not everyone has the opportunity to use Photoshop, but if you have then you know that it takes some getting used to and it has lots and lots of things to learn. Fotoflexer is much easier, and although it isn't quite as advanced as Photoshop, it is available to everyone. Fotoflexer is "the worlds most advanced online image editor" and has lots of handy tools. You can use text and stickers as well as cut out and layer. There are also lots of great effects and some wacky fonts. Even if your not making a banner I still recommend this site for any editing. It's been my savior since Picnik went off to some part of google.
Anyhoo, I wanted to give a bit more info on my banner and how to make one and blah blah blah etc etc.

Help?!

I'm really confused on how to let people follow or subscribe to me. I don't get any of this layout business, and I would really appreciate some help, so if you can please let me know how to navigate this strange place that is blogger.

just painting my nails

in the shade 'Truffle' by Accessorize. I really love this colour it is definitely one of my new favourites! Accessorize nail varnishes are always the ones I reach for because for me they have no fault. They dry quickly, they are easy to use and they last. They also have an irresistible colour range. At 4 pounds, they are also in my price range (yay!)

I hate recomended videos

I worked out how to get rid of the recommended videos and I'm so happy now my youtube homepage looks like it used to and I won't be missing anymore videos!

If you hate the crowded homepage then this is how I did it... 
At the left side of the youtube homepage is that list of all your subscriptions. Found it? Underneath are two buttons: 'Browse channels' and 'Manage subscriptions'.  Click on 'Manage subscriptions'.
This will take you too a new page with another list of your subscriptions, this time with tick boxes. One of the tick boxes says 'show only uploads in news feed' or something like that.  Tick this box for all of your subscribers. This means you won't see any of what they liked or commented, if you want to see that then don't untick it but it's the only way I've found to clear the homepage.
There isn't a save button so just click the youtube logo to go back to the homepage where your new settings should have changed.

Oops!

I'm so so sorry I completely forgot to take a picture of my smileys nails and now they're gone! I'm really sorry but they were very easy and looked a lot like the picture I got the idea from. If you wanted to give them a try you definitely should because I don't have a lot of nail painting talent I thought they were pretty simple. Hopefully even though you couldn't see mine I still inspired you to do them with the other picture? Anyway, I hope you had an amazing Christmas and of course... HAPPY NEW YEAR!
